The HP Smart Tank 5105 doesn't use cartridges. It has four refillable ink tanks, and you top them up from HP ink bottles: an HP 32XL black and HP 31 cyan, magenta and yellow, one bottle per colour. Every bottle that fits the Smart Tank 5105 is on this page, genuine HP, and I ship them Australia-wide from partner warehouses across the country. The same bottles fit the HP Smart Tank 7005 and 7305.
Which HP bottles fit the Smart Tank 5105
- HP 32XL Black ink bottle (1VV24AA), about 6,000 pages
- HP 31 Cyan (1VU26AA), Magenta (1VU27AA) and Yellow (1VU28AA) ink bottles, about 8,000 pages each
Each bottle is keyed to its own tank, so it only fits the right colour and the ink can't go in the wrong one. HP calls the black an XL because it's the only size they make for this printer, so there's no smaller black bottle to look for.
