The Kyocera ECOSYS M5521cdw uses four toner cartridges in black, cyan, magenta and yellow, in two sets. The TK-5234 black is rated for about 2,600 pages and its colours for about 2,200 pages each, and the TK-5224 set is rated for about 1,200 pages in each colour. They are genuine Kyocera, and I ship them Australia-wide from partner warehouses across the country.
Which toner fits the ECOSYS M5521cdw
- Kyocera TK-5234 black, cyan, magenta and yellow
- Kyocera TK-5224 black, cyan, magenta and yellow
The TK-5234 holds more toner, so you change it less often and pay less per page. Match the code on your current cartridge against the list before you order.
Common questions about the ECOSYS M5521cdw
TK-5234 or TK-5224: which should I buy?
The TK-5234 black lasts about 2,600 pages against about 1,200 for the TK-5224, more than twice as long. If you print regularly, the TK-5234 means fewer replacements and a lower cost per page.
Which other Kyocera printers use the same toner?
The ECOSYS M5521cdn and ECOSYS P5021cdw use the same TK-5234 and TK-5224 sets.
Do I have to buy all four colours?
No. Each toner is a separate cartridge, so you only buy the colour that has run out.
